    Dawn from OH Asked

We're coming in 2-09 but won't be able to book/pay for the trip until 1-09. I have a 5 y/o that will be in awe of a character b/l/d. Can we make reservations for this even though we haven't officially booked a trip yet?

Yes! You do not need to have a room reservation to make Disney dining reservations. Folks that are staying off-site and Florida residents make dining reservations all the time and they will never have Disney package booked.

Depending on the dates of your travel, the information in THIS answer about changes in booking WDW meal reservations may apply to you. I would call Disney Dining  (407-WDW-DINE) as soon as possible to determine the best time for you to make your reservations.
