Hi, there!
Heather, I'm so excited to hear about the trip you're planning. There's nothing better than watching your
little ones experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort! My kiddos have been traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort since they have been babies, and we've always kept the same Disney routine. We arrive at the theme parks when they open in the morning to take advantage of the low crowds. You'd be surprised how many attractions you can experience in just the first hour of the day! My kids are darn cute, but they sure don't wait well - arriving early and using
Disney's FastPass+ Service are must-dos! We schedule our first FastPass+ for the 10:00 hour and then our second for the 11:00 hour. We eat lunch around noon, and then use our last FastPass+ around 1:00 PM before leaving the park for the afternoon. After a nice long rest at our Resort hotel, everyone is ready for more adventure in the evening! We usually make an advanced dining reservation for 5:00 or 6:00 PM, and then continue to explore the theme park. While we do stick around for the
nighttime spectaculars, I'll often change our kiddos into their pajamas at that point in the evening because we bolt immediately afterwards, and they inevitably fall asleep on our way back to our Resort hotel. My husband and I transfer them right into bed!
While this routine has always worked for my family, it may not be the best fit for yours. The best thing you can do is think about your kids' unique needs to create a plan ahead of time, but then be prepared for some flexibility and magical spontaneity!
Thanks for stopping by, Heather!
Ashley
