We will be coming to WDW this week, with a 16 months old. Do we need to bring a car seat for the ride from the airport to the resort, as well as back to the airport when the trip is over? Will she need to be in a carseat during bus rides around the parks?

    Hi Brandy,

Thanks for writing.  There are no car seats on Walt Disney World Transportation or on Disney's Magical Express (which provides free coach bus transportation from Orlando International Airport to Disney Resorts).  You will not need to bring a car seat on Disney Transportation to and from the parks, therefore.  If you are planning on taking Magical Express to your resort, you won't require a seat either.  You can carry your child on your lap while you ride.

If you prefer to have a car seat, I would consider renting a car or hiring a taxi.  Most cabs in the Orlando area tend to keep at least one car seat in the trunk of the car in my experience.  If you are staying on property, and are interested in hailing a cab with a car seat, Bell Services would be happy to assist you in doing so.

    Have a wonderful trip!
