    Hi Mandi,

You are going to have a great time on your first WDW family vacation!

Being the practical mom that I am, I would surprise them at Christmas.  Besides the fact that you can use the trip as a huge Christmas present, it will also give your children a chance to help in the planning process. Since they've never been, they might want to have some time to look through guide books - there are some great ones out there - and choose their top attractions.  Given the age span of your children and the time you're traveling, you probably won't get to do everything, but giving each child the opportunity to pick and choose a few attractions that they "must" try will help build up excitement.

You can also use the early surprise to your advantage.  Help them each set up a savings jar for spending money.  It's a great incentive for getting the kids to get their chores done.  Plus, then they'll know exactly how much spending money they have when it's time for the vacation!

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
