Hi Moms! Coming to WDW 9/14-9/23. Thinking of adding an extra day (9/13) and heading to a water park. Which water park is better/more fun/less aggrivating on the parents :-) for DD8,DD5 and DD3? DD8 can swim but we are still working with DD5 and DD3.

    Rebecca,

My answer may seem counter intuitive, but hear me out. Normally you would think that Blizzard Beach, with two different kid areas, would be better. But with three kids to watch, I think you are better off at Typhoon Lagoon, where there is just one kid area. That way you can keep an eye on them all together, as opposed to splitting up just to mind the little ones. Plus I think that the Ski Patrol Training Camp (older of two kid zones at Blizzard Beach) can sometimes intimate 7 or 8 year olds with the bigger kids being so active there.

Another plus to Typhoon Lagoon for you is that they have the larger wave pool/beach area. This can again serve as a great place for you to monitor and play with all your kids, as opposed to having to split up.

One final point. You are supposed to have fun too. Try swimming through the Shark Reef, knowing that your kids can watch safely from the underwater portholes in the nearby shipwreck viewing area.

    Have a magical vacation!
