We are coming to WDW 10/2 - 10/6/09 with our 2 yo son. What would you recommend as a game plan for visiting the parks? Which rides should we hit early to avoid long lines? Any rides/restaurants/experiences we shouldn't miss? Thanks for your help!

Hey Virginia!  Okay with a two year old you will probably have the MK at the top of your park list.  Here is my number one recommendation.  Try to be there when the park opens and head straight to Fantasyland (located behind the castle).  And then go straight to Dumbo.  This inevitably quickly becomes one of the longest lines at WDW.  Knock out all of the popular attractions like Peter Pan's Flight, Winnie the Pooh and the Mad Tea Party.  Attractions such as Mickey's PhilharMagic, It's a Small World and the Carousel may have lines but they move very quickly, so save those for later.  I also recommend heading back to Toontown once you have had some fun in Fantasyland.  Here your little guy can meet and greet characters and even catch a ride on the train.
All of the other three parks will have attractions for your son as well, but my second choice would be DHS.  He will also probably enjoy the safari at AK and when he is good for a rest in a stroller is the time I would suggest mom and dad get to go to Epcot and walk around the World Showcase.  He will probably also enjoy Turtle Talk with Crush which can be found in the Seas.
I hope this helps to get you started and if you have any more questions, please come back and visit us at the Mom's Panel.
