We are coming to WDW in September to celebrate our daughter's 7th birthday and our son's 2nd birthday. Is there anything special we can do to celebrate them?

    Hi Laurie

Congratulations on your visit to Walt Disney World and on your childrens' upcoming birthdays.

Here are some ideas to make the visit extra special:
    • Remember to check in at City Hall at the Magic Kingdom, or at guest relations at other parks, and pick up birthday and first-visit buttons. Many Cast Members will go out of their way to wish your children a Happy Birthday or greet them with a kind gesture to make the visit more memorable.
    • If you are staying on property, let the Cast Members know at check-in that it's your childrens' birthdays. It's possible the front desk may be able to help arrange some Disney magic for your children.
    • You also may consider contacting the Dream Makers at Disney Floral and Gifts online or at (407) WDW-GIFT or (407) 939-4438. If you are staying on property, they can help create a personalized in-room celebration featuring your childrens' favorite Disney characters. With advance notice, they can also deliver personalized gift baskets to your Disney resort or a Disney restaurant where you may be enjoying a celebratory meal.
    • Arrange a special character meal dining reservation. You usually cannot go wrong with a character breakfast at Chef Mickeys.
    • Consider giving your children special make-overs at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and/or The Pirates League.
    • A simple treat, like buying a your children a balloon or bag of popcorn on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom, will likely bring her a huge smile.

    Enjoy this special vacation.
