Coming to WDW in Sept. Thinking of not doing park hopper since we are on the QSD and don't have to be anywhere for ADR. My ? what other free activities are available outside the parks (besides the pool and DTD) for the days that the parks close earlier?

    Hi Lesli!

Be sure to get an itinerary of activities at the resort you're staying in. Most of them offer myriad activities the family can take part in during your stay, most at no extra cost.

Some resorts have man-made beaches you can also enjoy. If you're staying at one of the resorts near Bay Lake or the Seven Seas Lagoon, you can enjoy Movies under the Stars or the Electric Pageant, a short light show shown right on the water.

Our family always like to "resort-hop" to other resorts, just to see some of them and perhaps stop by one of their specialty shops.

Of course, if you have children, many of the resorts have very nice playground areas the kids can enjoy.

And don't forget Extra Magic Hours, as at least one of the Parks will be either opening early or staying open late every day.

    Have a fun trip!
