We are coming to WDW POR in nov/dec and using DME, Due to us coming from uk i guess we wont receive tags for our cases as these are not sent to us? Will we need to collect our luggage then take them to a location before boarding coach? any help pl

Hi, Paul! When you are flying into Orlando International Airport from another country, you must claim your luggage after disembarking the plane and follow the U.S. Customs and Border Protection process. After finishing the customs process, you can proceed to Disney’s Magical Express. If you arrive after 5:00 A.M. but before 10:00 P.M., you have two options for your luggage.

First, you may take your luggage with you on the motorcoach to your Disney Resort. There is ample storage underneath the motorcoach for both your checked and carry-on bags. Even as a domestic Guest, we have done this so that we have immediate access to our luggage when we reach our Resort.

Second, after U.S. Customs, you may elect to return your luggage to the carousel, where Disney’s Magical Express will reclaim your luggage and deliver it to your Resort hotel room. Guests using the luggage delivery service should be prepared to present their airline baggage numbers at Disney’s Magical Express counter. Your luggage may take up to 3 hours to be delivered to your room after you arrive at your Resort.

If you arrive before 5:00 A.M. or after 10:00 P.M., there is only one option. You will have to bring your luggage with you to Disney’s Magical Express, and it will travel with you on the motorcoach to your Disney Resort Hotel. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
