We're coming to WDW in Oct and are trying to see if Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween party is something we should do. We have 3, 6, 12, and 17 yr olds in our group. Is this something everyone would enjoy? What type of 'treats' are given?

I think you'd be missing something great if you skipped the party, Krista.  We've been visiting as a family since before my youngest (now four) was born, and we make it a point to visit every year because it is one of our all-time favorite parts of the trip.  My kids (ages 4, 11, 13 and 16) look so forward not only to dressing up and filling their treat bags, but also to the amazing parade and fireworks shows that are exclusive to the party.  Those alone are worth the price of admission.  When you also consider that you get five hours in the park to experience attractions, you really can see the value of attending.  As for treats, it sort of varies year to year.  In the past, we've gotten Tootsie rolls, Smarties, Sweet Tarts, Laffy Taffy, Jolly Ranchers, and, of course, there's plenty of Halloween's ever-present candy corn.  I hope you'll make it a point to visit, Krista.  I doubt you'd regret it!
