Coming to WDW in November with two small children - ages 5 and 2 - who might enjoy the character meals, but I was wondering what are some of the other table service restaurants that would be the most "kid friendly", both for environment and food

    Hi Katharine!

There are many wonderful dining options at Walt Disney World! You will be happy to hear that the majority of the restaurants are kid-friendly and have excellent options for adults and kids of all ages. You're right that the character meals are definitely kid-favorites, but there are other options as well that kids love.

Coral Reef is an excellent choice for children, as the have an aquarium that runs the length of the restaurant. The kids will enjoy watching the fish while they eat. They also have a great kids menu and the Cast Members are super! When we dined there, the Cast Member took my kids on a Hidden Mickey Hunt while they waited for their meal.

Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom is another kid-friendly favorite. My kids loved the Thanksgiving-style all-American food.

At Hollywood Studios, Pizza Planet is a favorite, due to the great environment, complete with video games and decorations from Toy Story, and my kids favorite food...pizza!

    Magically,
