coming to WDW in may for the first time not sure if it would be cheaper to stay in WDW or at a hotel outside of WDW we dont have alot of money but want the girls ( 3 & 7) to have a great time they will not forget.

Congratulations on your upcoming FIRST trip to Walt Disney World!!

I can assure you that your girls will have a memorable time whether they stay on-site at WDW or at a nearby hotel. The important thing is that you'll be making lasting memories and sharing magical times together.

If you will be stressed about your vacation budget due to staying at a WDW hotel that may be more costly than you had wanted to spend, you should find accommodations that you can more comfortably afford.

Throughout the years, my family has stayed off-site and on-site in hotels that range from value to deluxe amenities. While I prefer to stay on-site and our son loves the WDW resorts, I wouldn't hesitate to stay off-site if we absolutely needed to.

I would venture over to www.mousesavers.com for the best cost-saving tips. Perhaps you can find other ways to save on your budget so that you can splurge on your hotel. If not, your girls may find your off-site hotel very exciting too. Just look for a hotel with a great pool. It's a sure kid-pleaser!

Your girls will likely remember seeing the castle, their favorite rides, a special treat, seeing their favorite character, watching their parents giggle like kids, fireworks, parades and shows. They'll have plenty to remember, no matter where you stay!
