We are coming to WDW in late June this year and staying at Beach Club for the first time. Usually we are at the Yacht Club in early May. Anything different at WDW at this time of the year we need to know?

    Hi Diane,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I love a stay at Disney's Beach Club Resort. The theme is quaint and I love the beach-like feel! Since you have stayed at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, you know about the wonderful Stormalong Bay pool area, and the ability to walk or take a quick boat ride to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

I do not think that you will find too great a difference between early May and late June at Walt Disney World. The weather will be a bit warmer in late June, so plan for that by being sure to bring appropriate clothes and keeping hydrated while in the theme parks. You also may find there to be more guests in late June than in early May since more children are out of school on summer vacation at this time; however, I would not classify late June as one of the busiest times of year at Walt Disney World. Be sure to make your Disney FastPass+ selections to experience some attractions each day while skipping the standby line! This will help to mitigate the increase in number of other guests that you may see.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Diane. Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions!
