    Allison from ME Asked

We’re coming to WDW in Jan ‘20. As a family of 6 we are going to get 2 rooms. My husband and I will each have 2 of our littles in a room with us. Are they able to guarantee adjoining rooms or at least close by? I don’t want to end up in separate building!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Allison! Thank you so much for bringing us your question! How exciting you are planning a vacation for next year!

I understand your concern about not wanting to be away from your husband and children. As you probably know, a request for adjoining rooms can be made in advance, however, they are never 100% guaranteed because honoring such a request will solely depend on availability at the time.

This is what I would recommend you do. Be sure to add a note to your reservation on your My Disney Experience or by calling (407) 939-1936. If you find out at check-in that you and your husband have been assigned rooms in different buildings, make sure you mention the special circumstances your family is in to the Cast Member assisting you at that moment. I am sure they will do their very best to try and accommodate your request for connecting rooms or at least two that are close by.

Allison, check out these great tips for traveling with young children on this link, and do not worry, I am sure everything will be just fine!

Please come back with more questions; we are happy to help!

    Have a fantastic family trip!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
