Coming to WDW with my fiance and step son for the first time in Dec. Do you feel it is better to have a plan for everyday or to go with the flow and see what happens? I am afraid if we don't do some planning we will spend most of our days waiting in line

    Hi Kayra,

Congrats on your first visit to Walt Disney World.

I'd definitely recommend doing some planning for your vacation. Otherwise, you may find that you aren't able to get in to the restaurants and/or attractions that you want to experience.

If you have the dining plan, or have some specific restaurants you want to visit, I'd highly recommend making advance dining reservations. Restaurants do fill up in advance, and it's best to have some reservations planned. This is especially important if you are traveling during the holiday season.

You can also book FastPass+ reservations in advance (60 days if staying on property, 30 days if staying off property). I'd recommend doing that for any attractions you know you want to experience.

I hope that helps! Have a great vacation!
