Hello Larisa!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I spent last Christmas, with my family, at Walt Disney World.  We loved it so much, we are actually doing it again this year.  I wont sugar coat the fact that there are crowds, it is one of the busiest times of the year.  If the crowds are anything like last year, the beginning of your vacation wont be too bad.  With the help of the FastPass+ selections and taking advantage of the Extra Magic Hours, we were able to do way more than we thought we would be able to.  Christmas Day at Magic Kingdom is always going to be busy.  Last year, we spent the whole day there.  We arrived to the parks as early as we could and, again, used the morning Extra Magic Hours.  By doing this, we were actually able to get a lot of family pictures in front of the castle with no one behind us!  It was incredible.  After our pictures, we headed off to our must do attractions and then used our FastPass+ selections.  By 11:00 am or so, the park felt very crowded.  This year, we are planning to leave Magic Kingdom Park around that time and head back to the resort to relax and then have a nice dinner.  After that, we plan to return to Magic Kingdom for some nighttime fun. Everyone was in such good spirits and the air just felt... magical.

I think it is great you have all of your dining reservations made and a touring plan in place.  My best advice to you is to make sure you are using the Extra Magic Hours.  That was our best tool at being able to ride our favorite attractions a few times before the parks got crowded.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
