Hi, Adam! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for bringing your question to us. I am happy to hear you are coming back for more magical adventures! Please know that we are always here to help you with your plans, so let us know if you think of any other questions as you plan this trip.

The Disability Access Service can really help your day in the theme parks be a bit easier for you ... and your feet! I am not sure if you have used the system in your previous trips, so I will give you some background on it. Walt Disney World Resort works with each guest on a case by case basis to see if they need any kind of assistance while experiencing the Resort. Sometimes, that may mean providing them with identification that will allow them to use their wheelchair in queues or on attraction, and sometimes that may mean giving the guest the ability to hold their spot in line virtually while relaxing in a comfortable spot. When you arrive at your first theme park, please stop by the Guest Relations location, which is found near the front of each park, and speak with a Cast Member. They will help you determine if any accommodations may be needed and what specific kind could make your visit practically perfect in every way.

A couple of summers ago, I had a broken ankle while visiting the Resort and was able to rent am ECV, or scooter, to help me get around better. This is a great option to consider if you think it may help you in any way. You will find a wheelchair and ECV rental spot right at the front of each theme park.

I hope this information helps you make your plans! Thanks again for stopping by and we will see ya real soon!
