We are coming in to Orlando on a late Friday night & staying at a Disney Resort for 1 night. We have a 4day park passes but will not use the passes until after checking out of the Disney Resort. Can we use the EMH the following week on one morning?

    Hi Katy,

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You're going to have a BLAST on your visit to the most magical place on earth!

Extra Magic Hours are just one of the many wonderful benefits available to Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel! With a one night stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll be able to take advantage of them either during your arrival or departure day. However, you won't be able to participate in Extra Magic Hours during the remaining portion of your vacation while you're staying elsewhere.

If you're looking for a way to visit with smaller crowds, I have some tips for you! I'd definitely encourage you to arrive early to the theme parks. By arriving at least 30-45 minutes before the park opens, you should have plenty of time to go through security and ticketing and be some of the first Guests into the park when it opens. My family has always been able to experience several attractions first thing in the morning without much waiting. In fact, we don't even start utilizing the FastPass+ system until mid to late morning. With that said, did you know that once you've enjoyed the three FastPass+ selections you chose ahead of time that you may use the My Disney Experience app or an in-park kiosk to make other selections, one at a time, until the parks close? That's definitely another great way to save time waiting in lines, so I wouldn't plan your pre-scheduled FastPass+ selections too late in the day!

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning for your trip, Katy, and have a truly magical vacation!
