We will be coming in October and will be staying at the Swan. I was wondering if we would be getting magic bands at that resort or do we still use the cards? I have a magic band from a prior visit and thought they were awesome and would love to them.

    Hi Sara,

We're so happy to see you here on the Moms Panel. We look forward to helping your with your upcoming vacation.

Guests of Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels are now able to use MyMagic+ and their My Disney Experience account during their magical vacation. Guests are able to make FastPass+ selections within a 30 day window from their arrival date. While complimentary MagicBands will not be available for you during check-in, you are more than welcome to purchase a new MagicBand within the theme parks or Downtown Disney to use during your vacation. You can also use the MagicBand that you acquired during your last visit. The MagicBand should be listed in your My Disney Experience account. You are able add the park ticket you plan to use during your October vacation to that MagicBand. How cool is that?

I hope this answered your question, Sara. If you need any more help with your vacation planning, or have any other questions, please feel free to ask us at any time.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
