Coming Oct 2016, thinking of staying at Pop Century. What is the best building, ex 1960. What is the preferred building. But would like to try a Moderate there well be 6 of us, 2 kids, girl 16 and boy 12. Would like suggestions. Thanks Mom Panel is GREAT!!

    Hello, Cynthia,

It sounds like you are "off and running" with your planning!  Disney's Pop Century Resort is one of Disney's value resorts that allows you to still have all the Disney magic and theming while being budget friendly. At the resort, the preferred buildings are the ones near the Classic Hall Lobby and Everything Pop Food Court, specifically buildings 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 10.   If you'd like a preferred building, I do like the 1960s buildings because most of the rooms have nice views of the Hippy Dippy Pool or Hourglass Lake.

As a party of 6, the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort may be a perfect moderate resort match for your family as they accommodate parties of 6. You will have a full living room and kitchen, too. Many guests opt to rent golf carts at the resort to get around as it is quite large (750 acres), and with the ages of your children I would imagine they may find that pretty fun.

As you continue your planning, please let us know if we can help again.

    Happy planning!
