Coming in Oct. to celebrate my dd's 3rd b-day and my ds's 1st b-day. We have on-site resort reservations for 6 nights, and were planning on 4 park days (1/day) with a "break" day in the middle. Am I making a mistake not planning for 2 MK days?

Hi Patricia! Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort birthday celebrations...there's nothing more magical!

I can totally understand wanting to fit in all the theme parks, but given the young age of your little ones, Disney's Magic Kingdom is going to be their number one spot! You'll have to pace yourself because there are so many exciting and iconic attractions to experience and you won't get them all done in just one least not with happy little campers! My 3-year-old twins remind me of that fact EVERY TIME.

You're smart to plan a rest day to enjoy exploring your resort, there's so much fun right under your nose and your children will love taking it slow for a day.

Wishing you a magical and memorable Disney vacation.
