    Hi Matt!

    This is a great question and I think there is no hard and fast rule.  It really depends on the time of year, as Disney can be very crowded some times of the year and almost empty at other times, as well as how many guests might need one on any given day.

    That said, I recommend renting one from a 3rd party instead of waiting to get to the parks.  I suggest this because I think guests who need one in the parks might also want or need one at their resort hotel.  Most of the resort hotels at Walt Disney World are huge with large grounds.  An ECV can come in handy at your resort.
