Coming 5 nites Mid June w/11 yr dtr & 6 yr son. Best Value hotel for kids/swimming/close Park access/nicer food? Water Park pass vs. park hopper? is off park hotel too much hassle re: transportation? is it truly worth the $$ for onsite hotel? Thanks

I love Disney resorts and all the perks that come with staying at one. For us, one of the biggest savings is that we don't rent a car since we can utilize Disney transportation as well as Disney's Magical Express to take us to and from the airport. I especially love that they take care of all of our luggage! I also find having the perk of being able to book our FastPass+ reservations 60 days in advance (compared to 30 days for non-Disney resort guests) is another wonderful advantage that we can't put a dollar amount on.

Since there are 3 levels of resorts, you should be able to find one that will match your budget and needs. If you'd really like an amazing pool and close proximity to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot, Disney's Yacht/Beach Club Resort are sister resorts with a pool that is nearly a water park with its sand bottom pool, sand bar, and lazy river that you may not need to visit a water park.  They also have a variety of nice dining options, too. My family also likes Disney's Polynesian Village Resort with its newly renovated pool and easy access to both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot by monorail. Also, with all the nearby resorts, you have many wonderful dining options by just hoping on the monorail.  However, these are all Deluxe Resorts so they are more costly.  There are also Value Resorts and Moderate Resorts which may not offer as many amenities, but have all the Disney perks and magic. Make sure to look over the Special Offers!

If we can help with further questions after looking this all over, please let us know!
