We are coming to Magic Kingdom in October 2011 and bought tickets for Mickey's Not So Scarey Halloween. On the Special Events page it says "special admission ticket required, does that mean that we have to purchase an additional admission ticket?

Hi Angela! You're going to love Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! The price of the ticket for the party includes the cost of admission to the park for that event. (You won't need a separate admission ticket to attend the party, but if you want to visit the Magic Kingdom or another park earlier in the day, you will need park admission to do that.)

The notice you read is just to inform guests that their regular park admission tickets do not entitle them to attend the party; guests need to purchase the special party ticket to celebrate Halloween with Mickey and friends. This party is so much fun -- you can wear costumes, trick-or-treat, meet lots of characters and see a spectacular parade and fireworks show!

Have a magical time in October! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
