Family planning a trip

    Louise from Middlesex Asked

Hi there! I am coming with a large party for my wedding in Oct and wondered if to book FP for everyone coming, do they all need to be linked on to MDExperience? Just thinking that will take a while to book everyone on if there are say 20 people?

Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Louise! It’s curious guests like you that have me “moving down” the table for more answers (and a hot cup of tea!). I made FastPass+ arrangements for my big group of 14 just this past month, so I can give you a few pointers!

You’ll love that the FastPass+ system can make reservations for a group all at once! As soon as you select all the folks that you would like to ride with in the system, you can make the three FP+ choices without re-selecting the party… it’s great! The hardest part is getting everyone to link up their My Disney Experience accounts; it can take a while, so start now! You can add a guest to your party by visiting the MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS page of My Disney Experience. At the bottom of the page, you’ll find the option to ADD A GUEST. If you aren’t already connected, choose the ENTER NAME AND AGE option. The trick here is to enter all the information in order to have the email address line appear. Enter their My Disney Experience email and then submit. Your family member will get an email and as soon as they connect, you’ll see them appear. When it comes time to make FP+ reservations (60 days ahead of check in), you’ll easily be able to select your 20 people and make batch FP+ selections through the entirety of your trip.

If you have more questions about stuffing your trip full of fun, please return to ask us another question. You’ll fall down the rabbit hole of magic and wonder! ~ Lindsey P.
