    Sara-

I am so excited for your upcoming trip. You are wise to begin planning now.  I see that my fellow panelist Gina has given you some great tips on visiting the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios Parks.

When traveling over a holiday weekend the crowds are usually thick but Labor Day is different with historically lower crowd levels than other holiday weekends. I would suggest visiting the Magic Kingdom Park on Sunday and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on Monday. Since you are staying at a Disney resort you may schedule your FastPass+ reservations 60 days prior to your resort check-in date. Any Disney dining experiences you would like such as meeting princesses at Cinderella’s Royal Table or Winnie the Pooh and gang at the Crystal Palace maybe done 180 days in advance.

As a suggestion, my most favorite event at Walt Disney World Resort is the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. This is a separate ticket event and usually opens on the Labor Day. With this ticket you are typically allowed into the Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 PM and the party lasts until midnight. I am heading back to this party in October because we met wonderful characters, trick-or-treated and dressed in our favorite Disney costumes. Super fun! If you add this to your agenda then you would be able to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios once and the Magic Kingdom twice. Tickets for Mickey’s No-So-Scary Halloween Party go on sale at the beginning of May. Have a great time.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
