We are coming on June 1st. We are staying off property for the first day with family and check into Pop Century on The second day. We bought a 1 day pass for the first day. Can we add that to our magic bands or do we have a seperate ticket for that day?

    Hi Carrie,
You can add that one day ticket into My Disney Experience and use your Magic Bands for your park ticket. Note that since you won't be in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will not be able to use your Magic Band to charge anything that day but you can make FastPass+ reservations 30 days in advance with the ticket loaded into the My Disney Experience system. I'm an Annual Passholder and frequently just drive over for the day (I'm a Florida resident) and don't have a resort reservation. I still use my Magic Band for my park ticket and for my FastPass+ selections.

You can also use your Magic Bands for future trips (although the batteries have a limited lifetime of about two to three years) for your park tickets, even if you aren't staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

Carrie, have a great trip and enjoy those Magic Bands!!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
