Coming in June with husband and 20 mo. Old daughter. We will need to use rider switch on some rides, but can we wait in line together rather than having to do it all on our own? Husband coming home in between deployments and would like to stay together.

Hi, Rachel.  Thank you to you and your husband for your commitment to our great country.

My husband and I often use the rider switch pass for rides my daughter is not yet tall enough to ride on.  Find the Cast Member standing at the entrance of each attraction and ask for a rider switch pass.  Your entire party will have to be there so he/she can verify you have a little one.  After that, the person riding will be admitted into the FastPass+ queue to wait for their turn on the ride.  The person waiting and the child will not be permitted to wait in the queue.  The FastPass+ line is very quick with minimal to no wait time most of the time. You wont have to be apart very long.

Have a magical vacation!  If I can help you with anything else, please let me know.
