Mom and daughter on Expedition Everest

Coming in January and we have to book our Fast Passes next weekend. My daughter is 2, am I able to book her one even though she technically doesn't have a park ticket? or how does that work, since she is tall enough to ride majority of the rides.

    Hi Chris,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question.

My little guy visited Walt Disney World Resort 5 times before he was 3 years old and needed a Theme Park Ticket. What I found was that, because he was so little, he could just accompany either my husband or I in an attraction’s FastPass+ line, when it came time to use our selections. He thought it was a pretty sweet system as it allowed him to ride the Tomorrowland Speedway a half dozen times with every single adult who was in our party… lucky little guy!

Your daughter should therefore have no trouble accompanying an adult who has a valid FastPass+ selection when they redeem it to experience a given attraction. As an aside: my little guy is really tall for his age and could do several “intense” attractions before he turned 3. That being said, he didn’t actually want to experience many of them, including The Barnstormer (as we found out, he’s not a fan of roller coasters). I would recommend against some of the more intense attractions, even if your daughter is tall enough, unless you know she’s already an adrenaline junkie!

    Have a Magical Day,
