    Mary from MO Asked

We are coming in Jan with in-laws for marathon weekend & trying to choose hotel. Should we stay at ASMusic family suite or try to get connecting rooms at value or moderate? Kids: DD5, DS2, DD6mos, total party 7.

Hi, Mary!  I love the All Star Music family suites, especially traveling with my family of five.  I would say, however, for you to be more comfortable, try booking connecting rooms either at a value or moderate resort.

The All Star Family Suites are very comfortable, but there is only one "real" bed.  The others are all fold out beds, including a fold out double sofa bed, and two fold out single beds.  A good thing about them is the two bathrooms and the kitchenette, but as much as I love my parents and in-laws, I think having some personal space is a good idea.  It keeps us traveling happily together to be able to retire to our own place each evening.

You could request connecting rooms at any of the All Star resorts, or Pop Century.  You will have a little bit more room and some additional amenities at a moderate resort.  My personal favorite is Coronado Springs, but they have an awesome pool at Caribbean Beach resort.

Have a wonderful time, no matter what you decide to do!
