Hi, moms! We are coming at Jan 30-Feb 5. Do you think we'll need to follow touring plans during that time of year, or could we just play it by ear? We don't like lines! :) Thanks for all your help.

Hi Kristin! I hear you on the lines! I must say I don't follow Touring Plans, but a do know of a few moms who do and love it! Here are a few tips of my best to minimize your line time:

    - Get to the parks for opening time. Trust me on this one. Lines are minimal once you're in the park and you'll be amazed at all you get in in the first few hours.
    - Use Fast Passes. Be sure to get them and use them. Pay attention to the time at the bottom, which tells you when you can get another one. Fast Passes at the most popular attractions like Toy Story Mania in Hollywood Studios actually run out, so go to your faves first to be sure you're not disappointed.
    - Park Hopper. If the park you're in is super crowded, with the Park Hopper option, you can hop over to another park.
    - And, for those attractions you find yourselves in line, look for hidden Mickeys. We always have our Hidden Mickeys Guide book with us, and the time flies as we're searching for them.
    - The Magic Kingdom's Haunted Mansion - as much as you dislike lines, go for the longer line on the left. There are so many cool new features it's worth the wait!

    Hope this helps Kristin!
