Coming inSept with DH, his parents, DD(4)-her 1st visit. Have CRT lunch and breakfast @Cape May. Wishes Dessert Party as surprise for all. Anything else in parks that is extra special? My in laws were last here in 1978, want them to have a blast!

    Hi, Dawn!

Sounds like you already have a lot of fun planned for your family!  The Dessert Party will certainly be a tasty treat for all of you.

Just a few ideas for you to do:

-Book an appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for your princess.  She might have fun getting a make-over!
-Look through any photos your in-laws may have taken during their 1978 vacation.  Perhaps you can re-create special photos for a great Christmas gift.
-Take them to Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom, all which will be brand new experiences for them.  They might get a kick out of dining at 50's Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios, it will likely bring back memories of their homes of yester-year, very fun place to eat. (Make Advance Dining Reservations.)
-Pick-up a free "I'm Celebrating" button.  Have them write that their celebration is "Returning after being gone from WDW for way too long!"
-Get matching shirts for your family to wear.  Then have a photo-pass photographer take a great picture in front of Cinderella Castle.  If you can't find matching shirts, you can always have some fun personalized shirts made at Design A Tee in Downtown Disney.
-At the Boardwalk, rent a Surrey Bike and zip around the Boardwalk for some family fun!

There is so much to do, I hope you find many magical adventures for your family!  Have a great vacation.
