    Elizabeth from MI Asked

Coming for honeymoon on Sept. 19th. Just checked the weather and it's supposed to storm everyday! Is this typical for this time of year? I don't want to be rained out!

    Elizabeth,

Unfortunately September is the tail end of the rainy season in Orlando. I would plan for it to rain every day that you are there if the forecasts say so, but don't let it get you down.

From all my visits in September, I have found that the rain is often focused into the early afternoon, and can leave you with a great dry morning, and a decent late afternoon. What I suggest is that you bring some travel ponchos with you, and keep an eye on the daily forecasts from the local television stations. You can also use the rain as an excuse to finally try all those water rides (like Kali River Rapids) that you might have passed on in the past, saying "Well I don't want to be wet the rest of the day!".

If you are going to get wet from the rain anyway, embrace it!

Let me know if I can offer any answers to some follow-up questions!

Have a magical (and dry) honeymoon!
