We are coming 9/25-10/3 and we have the free DP. We are looking for a dinner show that is included on the plan that our 2yr old girl & 9 yr old boy will both enjoy? OH and not at a park! We look through ?'s almost everyday! Love you all! Thank you!

    Hi Becky,

I'm a big fan of Mickey's Backyard BBQ held at the Fort Wilderness Campground (in an outdoor, but completely covered) pavilion.  The show features a Country Western band and a bunch of Disney Characters including Mickey, Minnie and Goofy.  The characters come out on a huge dance floor and dance with the kids the entire night.  It offers unprecedented access to the characters in my opinion.  I have amazing pictures of my kids "cutting a rug" with Mickey!  There are also some other acts without the characters (including a cool lasso show that my older son loved.) The dinner is an all you can eat buffet including ribs, chicken, corn on the cob, baked beans, hot dogs, watermelon, ice cream, lemonade, iced tea, beer and wine (all included).

The Fort is easy to access from the Magic Kingdom, and is a great way to end a day there.  Simply hop on a boat from the park over to the Fort.

My second choice for children your ages is the Spirit of Aloha Show at the Polynesian Resort.  This is a Disney-style Hawaiian Luau.  The performers are great, and my kids love the fire-eater guy.  (Not sure if that's grammatically correct!)

Dinner shows require two dining credits for each person over three dining.  Whichever you chose, have a fabulous trip!
