Hi, Renee! Congratulations on planning your very first visit to Walt Disney World Resort! It's wonderful that you'll have two full days to explore some of the many fun activities outside the theme parks. You've already discovered one of my favorites: Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. You could actually spend an entire day exploring Fort Wilderness, visiting the Tri-Circle-D Ranch, enjoying lunch at Trail's End restaurant and taking archery lessons. In the evening there are two popular shows which include dinner: Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

In addition to enjoying the pool and activities at Disney's Pop Century Resort, I recommend taking the short walk over the Generation Gap Bridge to Disney's Art of Animation Resort. In Animation Hall you'll find a Character Artist who teaches kids how to draw Disney characters (typically at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, but confirm times at the Front Desk). Be sure to stop in for lunch at Landscape of Flavors, the newest and best (in my opinion) of all the resort food courts. You can take a complimentary guided tour of the resort from 12:30-1:30 daily -- it's the perfect way to check out all the amazing theming in each of the resort's four sections.

Downtown Disney is a great place to spend a day or evening. Your boys may really enjoy DisneyQuest, an indoor interactive theme park. A must-do for my family is the incredible La Nouba show by Cirque du Soleil in Downtown Disney's West Side.

Some other fun activities outside the theme parks include miniature golf (Fantasia Gardens or Winter Summerland), the BoardWalk area near Epcot, and Sammy Duvall's Watersports Centre at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

P.S. Don't miss the Tie-Dye Cheesecake at Pop Century's food court -- it's the only place on Disney property where you'll find this delicious treat!
