We are coming for our first visit in May with our 4 young children (aged 4, 3, 3, and 2). What are some rides and attractions at each park that we should make sure not to miss? What FastPasses should we utilize?

Hello, Erin! Walt Disney World is a wonderful place for the whole family, but I think it's especially magical for young children to experience for the first time. You will find that there are many rides and attractions at each of the theme parks that will be just perfect for your preschoolers to enjoy.

The FastPass+ selections that I think you might find most valuable for your visit are:

    Magic Kingdom Park

    • Peter Pan's Flight
    • Enchanted Tales With Belle
    • The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
    • Jungle Cruise
    • it's a small world
    • The Magic Carpets of Aladdin
*I purposely left Dumbo the Flying Elephant off this list because it has a nice little play area for children to enjoy while you wait for your turn to ride.

    Disney's Hollywood Studios
    • Muppet*Vision 3D
    • Toy Story Midway Mania!
    • Disney Jr. - Live on Stage!
    Disney's Animal Kingdom
    • Kilimanjaro Safaris
    • Finding Nemo - The Musical
    • Festival of the Lion King
    Epcot
    • The Seas with Nemo and Friends
    • Journey Into the Imagination with Figment
    • Turtle Talk with Crush
There are many wonderful opportunities to meet favorite Disney Characters at each of the theme parks, too. I always recommend using FastPass+ for these because the lines can get really long and children, in general, do not like to wait in lines.

Don't forget about utilizing the Rider Switch option to experience your favorite rides, too!

I hope that you and your family have a very magical Walt Disney World vacation, Erin! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to stop back by the Moms Panel. Happy planning!
