We are coming for our first visit in January 2012 (26th - 31st). I do not see any listings for Fantasmic during our stay. Is there a particular reason? Could it be closed during that time for scheduled work? I hope not! I hear it is amazing..

Hi Elizabeth! January is a fantastic time for a first visit to Walt Disney World! Park attendance levels are often quite low during that time of year, which means you'll be able to see and do lots with little waiting!

Fantasmic will be in refurbishment from early January until mid-February, so unfortunately you won't be able to catch this popular show during your vacation. However, you can still see a nighttime show at one of the other parks. Both Wishes at the Magic Kingdom and IllumiNations at Epcot will be happening during your visit.

Be sure to stop by Guest Relations and ask for "First Visit" buttons for your family to wear during your trip. Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
