    Hello again, Elizabeth!

    Where do I begin?

Our family enjoyed the Pirates & Pals Voyage last year, and I think my 5-year-old was on a sugar high for a week from the all-you-can-eat dessert buffet (think cotton candy, brownies...)  The fireworks of Magic Kingdom were so spectacular from the water, as if it was how Walt Disney had envisioned it!  Speaking of cruises, Disney has many that fit all budgets.  With several in your party, it might be more economical to rent your own boat--and captain.

If you find yourself at Downtown Disney, consider Characters in Flight, a hot-air balloon that whisks you above the Disney property and allows you to take in the night skyline!  La Nouba at DD could provide the ultimate circus!  Our family splurged on the large sundae from Ghirardelli's on our last trip or if you're near Epcot, enjoy the Boardwalk as you head over to the Beach Club for its Kitchen Sink, featuring 15 scoops of ice cream!

If you're looking to keep your magical end on a budget, consider Fort Wilderness again where you attended Hoop dee Doo.  Chip 'n' Dale host a campfire singalong at 8 p.m.  It's free if you bring your own marshmallows!  Several resorts on Disney property host nightly campfires and free movies.  My favorite site to find out where is at www.buildabettermousetrip.com under Activities & Characters.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
