We are coming to FL at the end of this Feb and only spending one day at Disney. My kids want to go to AK, but closes at 5pm. MK closes at 9pm on the day we plan to come. Is it worth the extra crowds and disappoint kids to get 4 more hrs at MK?

Hi Monica! I am glad you came to visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
You have a good question. Definitely a difficult decision to make! Magic Kingdom Park is a very special place. Magical, unique and the one that touches everyone’s heart in so many different ways. But there is nothing better for a mom than seeing your kids happy. So, I would take them to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
They are going to have an unforgettable experience, the Park is beautiful, all surrounded by nature and attractions are great. I am sure they will love Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo – The musical, Dinosaur, Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain.
To make your day even more exciting, you can start it with a special breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant, where you will have a great Character Dining experience. Reservations are highly recommend, and you can make it online. It is an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast buffet. As you dine, Donald Duck and his friends visit for laughs, photos and autographs. Kids love it!
Finally, by the end of your day, I suggest you go to Downtown Disney Area, where you can find good restaurants, entertainment and shops, including the world’s largest Disney store. It is a fun place for spending time with your family!
Hope you have a very special day. Come back again if you have more questions.
