I am coming to DW first week in dec. do I need to go ahead & book my resort, a little afraid of booking so eary in case of cancel.in case of problem or a good deal coming out. but I really want room at Pop. what should I do? thanks Teresa

    Hi Teresa!

It's a great idea to make your reservations now if you know when and where you want to stay. It is very easy to make changes to a reservation or even cancel one if need be. Disney has a pretty liberal policy regarding cancelations. The details are different depending on whether you book a room-only reservation or a package.

If you book a room only reservation, you will need to put down a deposit of one night plus tax. The balance is due upon check-in at the resort. You can cancel your reservation up to 6 days before your scheduled arrival and your deposit will be returned. If you cancel less than 6 days before your arrival, you lose the deposit.

If you book a magic your way package, you will need to put down a $200 deposit. You can cancel and make changes to your reservation up to 45 days before your arrival with no penalty.

If you are looking for a good deal (and who isn't!), I suggest visiting the website mousesavers.com. You should be able to find out about any deals and specials as they are released here.

I absolutely think you should make your reservation now and start planning the rest of your vacation!
