We are Coming down to Disney but be are not staying at a Disney hotel, but I still want the magic band instead of holding on to a card. is it possible to get one and not stay at Disney? and if so how?

    Hey Bailey-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. MagicBands are for everyone. My kids love their MagicBands and they have a collection. This wearable technology is part of the MyMagic+ system which helps make your experience at Walt Disney World Resort more enjoyable. You will be able “touch” or “tap” your way through the entire theme park from the turnstiles to your FastPass+ attractions. There are so many designs, collections and colors that MagicBands have become fantastic wearable souvenirs. If you are not staying on property then I would order from or purchase one once you enter the theme parks.

Once you purchase the MagicBand link it to your Disney account in My Disney Experience. Cast Members over the phone (407) 939-4357) or in person at a MyMagic+ Service Center will also help you link MagicBands if you need assistance.

Disney Dad Tip: MagicBands come in many colors and designs and some even make a special noise when activated at a touchpoint. Star Wars Weekend MagicBands had a series that made the lightsaber activation sound. So cool! The best variety is in the theme park merchandise shops or at the shops in the Downtown Disney Area.

Bailey, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
