Hi! We are coming down in April with our 5yr old son and 1 yr old son for the 1st time. We are staying in time share off site. What is the best meal plan package to purchase and should I buy the magic band? HELP!

    Hi Kerry-Jeanne,

No worries! The Disney Parks Moms Panel is here to help.

The Disney Dining Plan is available only to guests who are staying at Walt Disney World resorts. Even though you can't purchase a dining plan, I suggest you take a little time to peruse the Disney dining options and make advanced dining reservations for any restaurants you want to visit during your vacation.

Likewise, at this time, MagicBands are available only to guests who are staying at Disney resorts. Good news, however: the bands are free.

The MyMagic + program, which includes MagicBands and FastPass+, is still evolving. Right now, guests who are staying off-site can make three FastPass+ advance reservations when they arrive at the parks each day. There are special kiosks at each park for FastPass+. If you don't see them, cast members near the entrance will be able to direct you.

Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as you plan your visit. Enjoy!
