Hi we are coming to Disneyland next week. My children are 2 and 4. Do you have a map/list of recommended rides/pathways to visit in order to visit rather than completely randomly wander? Many thanks

    Hi, Anastasia!

I’m so glad to hear you’re visiting “The Happiest Place on Earth” with your little ones!

Considering the age of your kids, I bet much of your time will be spent in Fantasyland. Visit the most popular attractions (like Peter Pan’s Flight) or your kids’ other “must-dos” first, because the queues tend to get longer as the afternoon goes on. Matterhorn Bobsleds is also a popular attraction that is best visited early in the morning or late in the evening. Make plans to see “Mickey and the Magical Map,” a brand new live show that recently debuted at Fantasyland Theatre!

Disney’s FASTPASS service allows you to return to an attraction at a designated time and experience a minimal wait, so be sure to utilize it when available. In Tomorrowland, Space Mountain and Star Tours offer FASTPASS, but Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage does not, so make it a priority to visit that first to avoid longer wait times.

In Frontierland board attractions like the Mark Twain Riverboat or Sailing Ship Columbia for a tour of the Rivers of America, and be on the lookout for scallywags at the Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island!

In Adventureland, Indiana Jones Adventure offers FASTPASS tickets, so pick them up on your way to Pirates of the Caribbean, then head to Haunted Mansion. Splash Mountain has FASTPASS available, and while you wait, you can visit The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and explore Critter Country or have a bite to eat back in New Orleans Square, which is just a few steps away.

Use the Rider Switch program, which allows one adult to ride an attraction while another adult waits with a child who does not meet the height requirement. Then "switch" so the second adult can enjoy the attraction without waiting all over again.

    I hope this helps, Anastasia!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
