We are coming to Disneyland near the end of April and were planning an Ariel's Grotto with a World of Color seating package. With the new Pixel Pier changes, will this show still be running or will there be an alternate dining/show package in DCA?

Greetings, Ruskin! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

There are some exciting things on tap at the Disneyland Resort this April! I'm not sure if World of Color will have showtimes during your visit as the entertainment schedule isn't available that far in advance yet. Also, looks like reservations for the World of Color dining packages are only available through April 12th as of right now. However, I can guarantee another spectacular nighttime entertainment option that you will want to check out. The dazzling Paint the Night Parade returns on April 13th, but will march down Disney California Adventure Park for the first time. This is my absolute favorite parade because all the floats are completely lit up and the soundtrack is so upbeat and fun. You won't want to miss it!

There are even dining packages associated with Paint the Night that will provide you with some excellent food and a reserved spot to view the parade. Carthay Circle Restaurant and Wine Country Trattoria offer multi-course meals and vouchers for reserved viewing. The Carthay Circle Restaurant package even takes it a step further to provide an actual seat from which to view the parade. There is also a reception at Sonoma Terrace that will provide you with some sweet and savory treats and a beverage while you watch the parade from the elevated patio at this eatery. Either of these options would be the perfect replacement if World of Color is not showing during your trip.

Please stop by again with any other questions you may have!
