We are coming to Disneyland in August for our twin girls’ birthday. Are there any special birthday things that we should setup in advance?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Devra!

There is no better place to celebrate a birthday than the Disneyland Resort! And you get to experience all the fun times two! There are a few things you might want to reserve in advance to help make your daughters' special day even more magical. First, book a dining reservation for a celebratory meal. Character meals are always super fun and I particularly enjoy the Minnie and Friends Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn. The breakfast buffet has many delicious items to choose from and the character interaction here is the best of all the character meals, in my opinion.

If a special dinner is more your style, try Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel which is also a character meal or Blue Bayou Restaurant which doesn't feature any characters, but the ambiance can't be beat - it's located inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction! Dining reservations can be made online or by calling (714) 781-3463. You can also order a custom birthday cake to be delivered to table service restaurants by calling (714) 781-3463 at least three days in advance, but the earlier the better.

If your daughters will be turning 3 years old or older, consider booking magical princess makeovers at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! There are several packages to choose from and this experience is any little princess fan's dream!

Finally, don't forget to pick up complimentary birthday buttons for your girls at City Hall in Disneyland Park when you arrive. These will garner them all sorts of birthday wishes from Cast Members through out the day.

Have a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
