Hi Keith,
Visiting while the entire Walt Disney World Resort comes to life with Christmas joy is one of my
favorite times of year to experience the magic! I'm happy to let you know that you should be able to enjoy most, if not all, of the holiday festivities during your mid-November visit. The theme parks will be decked out in holiday splendor, the Resort hotels will have their gorgeous decorations (including the incredible
Gingerbread creations!) on display, and seasonal
holiday events will be happening all throughout the most magical place on earth.
While the week of Thanksgiving is a pretty popular time to visit, the week prior is a bit more moderate, crowd-wise. Don't forget that the
FastPass+ service will help you experience some attractions with lower wait-times, regardless of the crowd-level, plus I'm confident that you'll find magical things to do wherever you go around the Resort!
The
Epcot International Festival of the Holidays begins November 18th, and you'll be able to enjoy the magic of the holidays through different cultures from all around the world, delight in delicious treats located in kiosks throughout the World Showcase, and experience the incredibly beautiful and moving Candlelight Processional, which begins November 22nd. You'll find special holiday events at the other theme parks as well and are sure to return home with a heart full of Christmas joy and wonderful Disney memories.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Keith, and have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
