we are coming to Disney World on September 18 2013. we arrive at the airport at 535pm and we are staying at PopCentury. will we have enough time to make an 810 ressie at Cape May? Thank you

Hi Rose! I love that you're planning to start the fun as soon as you arrive at Walt Disney World! Dinner at the Cape May Cafe will be a yummy way to kick off your vacation!

You don't mention in your question whether you're renting a car or using the Magical Express to get to the Pop Century resort. If you'll have a car, you should have plenty of time to drive to Pop Century to check in and then drive over to the Beach Club for dinner. If you're using the complimentary Magical Express transportation to get to your resort, the timing's a little trickier to predict. The Magical Express motorcoaches stop at multiple resorts. If the Pop Century happens to be the first stop, you could arrive at your resort as quickly as an hour after your land. However, it always seems that when I'm in a hurry to get to Disney, my resort turns out to be the last stop, and the trip from the airport can take 2 hours in that circumstance. You'd be cutting it close, but if you took a cab from the Pop to the Beach Club, you could make an 8:10 reservation. If you don't want to pay for a taxi, you may want to push your dinner reservation back to 8:30, so that you'd be sure to have an hour to take the Disney bus to Downtown Disney and then hop on a bus to the Beach Club.

If you get lucky and arrive at the Pop an hour or so after landing, you could always show up a little early for your dinner reservation. I've found that we're generally seated fairly quickly at the restaurants even if we arrive earlier than our scheduled time.

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
