We are coming to Disney World in December 2014. We will have 4 kids traveling with us. We would like to make them matching shirts what do we need to know about copyright laws? We don't want to get into any trouble. Thanks

    Hi Roslyn:

While your desire to respect copyrights is awesome, providing legal advice is beyond the scope of this panel.  My best advice is to use Disney's own resources to create matching personalized shirts and apparel.  Check out Disney Design-a-Tee in Downtown Disney where you can create your own tee-shirts with Disney character art and using your own words or names.  I would also look at the Disney Store online for shirts and apparel, many of which can be personalized.  Other ideas for matching personalized merchandize include getting names embroidered on Mickey ears at Downtown Disney as well as at Sir Mickey's in the Magic Kingdom.

    Enjoy your vacation.
