    Hi Donna!

Walt Disney World in December is a wonderful time! The Christmas decorations will put you in the holiday spirit and it is absolutely gorgeous around the resorts and parks. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) is a wonderful event that the entire family will enjoy. MVMCP does require a separate ticket for admission, therefore I can understand your hesitation in purchasing a ticket until you make sure it will be something your young ones will enjoy.

Personally, I feel that MVMCP is a must-do if you are at Walt Disney World during the holidays. Snow will fall on Main Street, which is a beautiful sight. Your kids will be amazed because it looks so real. When I visited, it was cold and the "snow" was falling. I actually asked someone if it was real or fake because it felt so real!

There is also a Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade which has a holiday theme, complete with reindeer and Santa himself!

There are also several shows and character dance parties that the kids can enjoy. My kids really loved the hot cocoa and cookie stations located throughout the park. The Holiday Wishes fireworks show caps the night off and it a wonderful ending to a special day.  The fireworks display all around you with a 360 degree view. It is amazing.

I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
