We are coming to Disney World from 7/4-7/11-couple of questions 1. Are the parks busy? 2. With the heat, we purchased the water park addition and I am wondering if the water parks generally fill up? 3. July 4th fireworks-which park best?

    Renee:

Typically, the parks are always busy around any holiday, and Independence Day is no different. Especially because the Fourth of July falls on a Friday next month, I would imagine this to be even more true this year. I would recommend avoiding Magic Kingdom on the 4th and visiting on the 3rd. The same patriotic fireworks celebration is shown both nights. Enjoy Epcot on the 4th as it is much larger than the other parks and is my go-to on the busiest days.

As for the water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon can fill up, especially on a weekend in the summer. To avoid this, arrive at opening or go in the late afternoon when the crowds have subsided.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
